Hummingbirds

Back in August 2010, my friend Mike from Nelmst Images and I attended a two-day hummingbird photography workshop led by Oliver Klink of Incredible Travel Photos. Over the years, I’ve taken several workshops—but this one stands out as the best.

Oliver’s teaching style was relaxed yet deeply informative, creating an environment that made it easy to learn while staying fully engaged behind the camera. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the access. We were surrounded by hundreds of hummingbirds, offering nonstop opportunities to observe and capture their incredible speed and precision in flight.

It’s unfortunate that this workshop is no longer available. If it were, I’d sign up again without hesitation—it was that good.
