This was my first attempt at both photographing stars and light painting. I would have completely missed out on this opportunity and getting this image if it wasn’t for my friend Rich. Whom had suggested we go out and give it a try. We spent four hours out on the beach shooting in the cold and I don’t think either of us realized how cold it was until we walked back to the truck. I think we had a nearly perfect night to capture star images with the new moon and almost no clouds. Mono Lake is a very impressive place which I hope to return to very soon.
